Last year's pumpkin was cute, playful and not a bit scary. This year, Carli and Nic wanted scary teeth. So they each drew a pumpkin face and we combined the two pictures.
We had a lot of fun. Nic tried to scrape out the seeds, but didn't like the smell.
Carli had no problem digging down in there and pulling out all that slimey mess.
Then Nic discovered that it was much more fun to pop the seeds between your fingers to send them flying accross the room. The name of this game: Seed Snapping. I think we will be finding pumpkin seeds for days.
They thoroughly enjoyed themselves. I really did, too.
Here is this year's pumpkin. The kids loved it!
